The University of Illinois Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory is accredited by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD). This achievement allows us to foster the  continuous improvement of laboratory techniques and processes as well as disseminating information concerning the diagnosis/monitoring of animal health and disease surveillance. The close association of AAVLD requirements with ISO 17025 guidelines makes accreditation an internationally recognized sign of quality.
